Getting traffic is and important part to running a successful business online, and if you are new to Internet marketing it can become a very pain staking process to learn how to build up traffic to a website. Article Marketing – Write articles that are related to your business, and submit them to article directories all across the Internet.

Talk On Forums – Search for forums that are related to your business, and become an active user. Post questions, and reply to peoples messages. Just make sure to leave a link back to your website in your signature.

Post Comments On Blogs – Visit a blog directory and type in keywords dealing with your business. Once you find a few good blogs leave a few comments on each one, but make sure you do not spam the blog with comments.

Join Traffic Exchanges – Look up the three most popular traffic exchanges, and become an active member at each one. Surf at each site at least once a day until you feel you have surfed long enough.

Safelist Marketing – Become a free or paid member at some of the top safelists online. Then make it a habit to submit to each one at least once a day.

Free Classifieds – Join a few of the top free classified ad sites, and post ads to them daily.

Myspace / Facebook – If you do not already have one then create a profile at either one of these places, and become an active member in the network. Talk to people, and soon you will see traffic coming in.

YouTube – Post videos that are related to your businesses website or give helpful information to people. Make sure to put links in your videos or on your page.
