Ford Escape Hybrid was one of the first hybrid SUVs to enter the market and woo the consumers. In order to improve on their earlier model, Ford has now launched ‘2008 Ford Escape Hybrid’. With the seating capacity of five people, the new SUV is perfect for a family outing. It has been fitted with Atkinson cycle, 2.3L I-4, 16 valve DOHC SMPI gasoline hybrid engine, which gives horsepower of 133 Bhp@6000 rpm and maximum torque of 124 Nm@4250 rpm. 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid is a Front-wheel drive zero.
Even the styling of the car has been changed and it has been provided with square-jawed bodywork, to give a tougher and more masculine feel. The bulging hood also adds to the look. At the same time, the addition of extra 300 pounds of curb weight makes it a bit heavy to maneuver. Talking about its interiors,

Other add-ons are 110-volt AC outlet, cargo cover, heated outside mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, roof rack & rear parking sensors.
