Chevrolet Orlando MPV

After much wait, General Motors has released the picture of its latest innovation - Chevrolet Orlando MPV. With the new car, GM has made an entry into an entirely new segment - seven-seat family multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment. The pictures of the car, slated for its world premiere at the Paris Auto Show, in October 2008, bring it across as a seven-seat MPV with a characteristic sport utility-like design. Adaptable seating and impressive interior space complete the look of Chevrolet Orlando MPV.
The latest model comes across as being based on the recently announced Cruze compact sedan, while General Motors has stuck to the Chevrolet’s signature design language as well. With Orlando, GM seems to have exploring the potential of blending together the versatility attributes of a sport utility, family van and wagon, in a single automobile. Talking about the looks of the new car, we can definitely say that it has a masculine stance, especially with the flared fenders and a well defined contrast between the hood and windshield lines.
Through Chevrolet Orlando MPV, General Motors has tried to incorporate an SUV-looking vehicle with the dynamic ride and handling, excellent fuel efficiency and easy entry of a sedan. Equipped with five doors, the automobile is perfect for those who either have a large family or carry heavy load (which can be accommodated by converting the spacious cabin into a cargo area). Other features of Chevrolet Orlando MPV include 2760 mm wheelbase, wide front and rear tracks and 2.0-liter turbo diesel, developing 150 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
